FAQ's
- After your selections are made and purchased, you will receive you an email proof for approval within 2-5 business days. My business days and hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 2:30pm CST. If you have any changes you can make them during the proofing process.
- Once you have approved your proof, your order will go into production. The printer runs 2-4 business days. Then shipping takes 1-3 business days based on your location. Please note we ship from Alabama.
- Please note printing timeline can run longer during peak holiday season. Letterpress production is 3-6 weeks and Ribbon Wrap production is 2 weeks.
- If proofing is not on schedule due to vacation or illness, we usually provide printing timeline in the header/top banner of our website.
- standard paper 2-3 business days (2-5 business days during Holiday season)
- premium paper 3-5 business days
- liners require an additional business day for assembling once printed; please note that liners are assembled by hand and handmade, so there may be imperfections.
- photo attached cards require 1-2 additional days for assembling. The cards arrive from the printer, and the photos arrive from a separate printing company. Once both are in then we can cut (if needed) and assemble. These are hand assembled, so sometimes the photos can move in shipment, but can easily be adjusted and re-positioned.
- Letterpress, Engraved, and Foil cards typically requires 2-3 weeks in production not including proofing timeline. Some complex order requiring die cuts or duplexing could require more time.
**Please note the timeline starts after the day approved. If approved Monday at 12:30 pm, even if I am able to get it setup and sent to print by 1:30 pm it will not process until the next business day, If submitted before 11:30 it might process in the printing queue starting that day. But a general rule of thumb plan on the next business day.
- Double-sided printing is available for free. You may add a photo or two on the back, an announcement, or any info you would like. This is customizable to your liking.
- Please upload your photo(s) 1MB or larger to ensure best print quality.
- Many cards offer the option for your card's front photo to be attached to the card. Clients can mount the photos or Kate Chambers Designs can mount for you for $.65/per card.
- You can add photos to be printed on the back of your card for no additional charge. Please upload your additional photo(s) at checkout.
- Rush printing (1-2 business days, not including the day submitted) is available from the printer for $25 for 1-2 printed items, $45 for 3-5 items. Please keep in mind this is not rush shipping and only elevates your product(s) priority with the printer. Rush orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days upon receipt the client’s email approval of their proof. Business days and hours are Monday – Friday 9am-2:30pm CST.
- For the 2024 Holiday Season, the rush shipping fee is $45 for printed cards and printed cards with 1-2 printed items. For cards with 3-5 printed upgrades, the rush fee is $85. Printed upgrades include envelope liners, recipient addressing and return addressing.
- Premium paper is NOT available for rush printing. Rush printing during the Holiday season can take 2-3 days or at times be unavailable. If it is unavailable, we will notify you after your purchase and you will be refunded the rush fee. All Rush printing orders must be confirmed by 10am. If received after 10am, they will go into the next business day.
- All of my products are semi to fully customizable. For this reason, products cannot be returned unless a mistake was made by the printer. Please be sure to review your proof very carefully for any errors in your customizable information (spell of names, times, dates etc.). However, if an error is made by the printer, please contact me promptly to let me know.
- If you approved the mistake then a re-print fee will apply.
- For this reason, please please double check your order when it arrives before you mail out. It's easier to fix a mistake with a reprint vs mailing out a duplicate set.

- LOCAL PICKUP is available to residents of Dothan, Alabama and the surrounding area for certain items. Please select “LOCAL PICKUP” as your shipping option when checking out. Items will be available for pickup at the store front, AVENUE, within 1-2 weeks of ordering.

- SHIPPING is based off weight and is as follows:
- 13 oz or less & enclosure cards via USPS first class - $5.95
- 1-2 lbs. ship via FedEx with a base cost of $10.95
- 3lb + ship via FedEx with a base cost of $15.95 each
- Do you ship internationally? I ship internationally via USPS. International shipping rates apply.

- Your purchase includes two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions are $10 each. You will receive a link to pay for the additional charge if applied. Orders will not ship until payments have been received.
- We highly encourage you to have another set of eyes look over your order. Especially if you are hosting a party with other hosts.
- Please note that www.katechambers.com will appear on the back on your cards. The logo is small and subtle, to not distract from your finished product. If you would like to see an example please contact us at info@katechambers.com and we will provide one.
- I love working with brides to create beautiful and meaningful pieces for their wedding! Right now, some of my wedding pages are still under construction. Please use the Custom Order Form found on the top of my homepage and provide me with your details and contact information; I will be in touch.
- Unfortunately we only offer printed goods. All of our artwork is custom one of a kind that we have made, commissioned, purchased or own a commercial license to use as end users; therefore we do allow any of our art to be released digitally.
- All the quantities with minimums are listed on every listing on our site. If you need 170 cards and only see 175 in the drop down, you will need to purchase the 175, note this in the customization box and we will credit you the difference.
- We offer several paper options but most of our cards are printed on 120lb eggshell finish white or natural white card stock. This cardstock is a very nice uncoated, matte, heavyweight, with a slight texture. Since this paper has a slight texture, your images and or text printing will be matte with a soft finish. - The only listings with actual printed goods are a few in the Holiday specialty section and our instagram. All the images on the listings are digital mock-ups not actual printed goods. If you are wanting views of actual printed items, please look at our instagram page.
- Yes, standard square flap envelopes come with all invites, announcements, and holiday cards. Euro flap and colored are an additional add on and found in the drop down menus. Enclosures and Valentine cards do not come with envelopes but are available for purchase.
- We are happy to offer recipient addressing envelope printing. We use a mail merge program so the envelopes are printed exactly how your excel list is typed based on one of the fonts from the card that you selected. If you have a space in there, then it will print the space. We offer this service for $.50/envelope based on the card order not the printed list. For example if you order 100 cards but only have 90 recipient on the list the order is still based on the 100 cards. For a $15 setup fee we will send a proof of the recipient addressing and this includes 2 rounds of edits. If you have suffixes in names, II or III and have selected a script but wish for these to be printed in a serif please move to a separate column in the title of the column please list (suffix serif). We highly recommend doing this especially for wedding related cards.
